SERIES 31.

I left TS Mercury and joined HMS Fisgard with Series 30 in May 57. I left the Navy in May 68 as an OEA taking up technical writing (many more years of undetected crime) and worked as a contractor for many of the defence companies of the day. I moved to Serco Defence in 1991 and retired in Aug 2005 to look after my wife Jean, who is disabled. We now live in the old family home ‘out in the sticks’ near Arundel, with model aircraft flying and shooting as my hobbies plus of course our ubiquitous poodle ‘Ellie’ to keep me active. I have yet to be cudgelled by Jean into to learning bridge, but who knows she may keep me awake one day long enough to learn the game (but it does sound all very technical and boring!).
